The academy of motion pictures and sciences announces on Tuesday that the famous Comedian star Eddie Murphy will host the 84th Oscar ceremony. Brett Ratner the producer of next Oscar show along with Don Mischer, called Murphy "a comedic genius, one of the greatest and most influential live performers ever."

He debuts in Industry with the film named “48 hours” in 1982.He is Nominated as Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year – Actor in this film.
